Mr. Albert is responsible for developing the firm’s internal, thesis driven research effort. Having spent almost 15 years as a long/short buy side investor focused on small cap technology, he has developed a very critical approach to evaluating emerging business models. He is currently a board observer at Celigo, GrowFlow and SpringBig.
Recently, he led the technology investment segment for Merus Capital Partners, based in New York City. Prior to Merus, he was the third employee at Invicta Capital Management and was instrumental in growing the firm’s assets from $30M to over $400M in less than 3 years.
Mr. Albert received a BS in Economics from The Wharton School – University of Pennsylvania with a double concentration in Finance and Management. Additionally, he achieved the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2005 and is a member of the CFA Society of San Diego.
